POLICIES AND PROCEDURES OF ADMISSION IN THE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Admission Criteria for Acceptance •

The family must be registered and practicing Christians, or of other confessions who accept the principles of our Catholic education, and must show an interest and willingness to cooperate in the Christian life of their parish and the activities , of our school.

The headmistress will place the student in a class which • satisfies best his/her individual needs. Placement in any class will be determined by the result of a standardized achievement test as directed by the State and [Arch] diocesan Ministries of Education and/or the report card from the previous school.

The pupil will be expected to comply with all school regulations and to behave during class time in a manner which is conducive to good learning.

The parents will be expected to show an interest in the education of their children by cooperating with the principal and faculty in school matters.

If a student is unable to progress in the regular classroom curriculum by reason of physical, emotional or learning • disabilities, a conference will be held with the parents to explore educational resources which might better meet the child's individual resources.
